Animal-loving celebs will be supporting PupAid this weekend, in a bid to raise awareness about the correct way to choose a dog and to deter puppy purchasers from inadvertently buying from a puppy farm.
The event, which is open to all, will feature a celebrity-judged fun dog show (including Best Rescue and Waggiest Tail), various doggy displays, boutique doggy shopping village, have-a-go agility, family BBQ, Crufts Best in Show winner Jilly, Temptation Alley and free microchipping. It will take place on Saturday 7 September 2013 from 10am-5pm in Royal Park Primrose Hill, and is free to attend.
TV Vet Marc Abraham says: “By organising an annual event of this kind we can hopefully educate more people about the horrors of puppy farming and seriously damage the supply and demand chain of these sick and diseased pups, thus ending puppy farming for good.”
PupAid is also actively petitioning the Government online to stop puppy farming. View and sign the e-petition here.
