Greyhound Extravaganza returns on 29 May

The Retired Greyhound Trust (RGT) is inviting dog and animal lovers to come along to its Greyhound Extravaganza event on Sunday 29 May, at the Animal Health Trust, near Newmarket.

This popular family day out features dog show classes for Greyhounds and other breeds, as well as entertainment, shopping and refreshments.

Oliver Reid, the Trust’s Communication and Fundraising Officer, says, "The Greyhound Extravaganza is our first big show of the year and should be in everyone’s calendar to come and have a fun filled family day out. It is my first major RGT event that I will be attending since joining last year and I can’t wait.

"Each year more and more dog lovers travel from all over the UK to attend and join in the classes. These events are also a fantastic opportunity for anyone who may be thinking of adopting a Greyhound and would like to find out more information on them. You will have the opportunity to meet some of our lovely greyhounds waiting to be homed and see first-hand what wonderful pets they make. Whether you are a dog owner or not, there is something for everyone at the Extravaganza and we look forward to welcoming visitors, old and new, on the day."
