Can you spread the word and help in the search for Yazz? The two-year-old female Leonberger went missing on 17 February 2012 from her home in Thorney, eight miles east of Peterborough in Cambridgeshire. She escaped from a paddock near her home – her owner believes Yazz and her other dogs were possibly chasing a fox or rabbit. The other three dogs came straight back but Yazz is still missing. She is microchipped.
There are lots of open fields round about where she could still be wandering lost, but Thorney lies just off the A47, a major east-west trunk road – if she has been picked up by someone in a passing vehicle it’s possible she could be anywhere in the country by now, not just in Cambridgeshire.
If anybody sees Yazz or has any information about her whereabouts, please call 01733 270229 or phone/text 01717 650837.
