If you want to visit the Kennel ClubArt Gallery’s exhibition The Labrador Retriever in Art, 24 May might be the best day to do so: that’s when breed historian Richard Edwards, whose help was instrumental in setting up the exhibition, will give a lecture on ‘The History of the Labrador Retriever’.
Mr Edwards is the author of ‘The Show Labrador in Great Britain and Northern Ireland’ and ‘Sandylands’, a volume detailing the history of this well-known Labrador Retriever kennel, and regularly undertakes lectures regarding the history of the breed. The lecture will take place in the Kennel Club Art Gallery from 11am. Tickets are priced at £7.50 and include a buffet sandwich lunch – plus the opportunity to view ‘The Labrador Retriever in Art’ exhibition.
You can book the tickets by calling the Kennel Club Art Gallery on 020 7518 1064 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
