A special event for dogs and their owners will be held at Bowhouse Community Centre, Grangemouth, Scotland on 26 November, in aid of Buddie’s Of Bandeath.

The Buddies formed to help Bandeath Stray Dog Shelter, near Thorsk, which recently faced closure. The money raised will go towards vet bills, including neutering and vaccinations.

Organiser Mariangela Pollicino is inviting charities and dog owners to come together for a fun-filled day. Burns Pet Food will be sponsoring the event and providing 50 goody bags to visitors, as well as a dog food donation to the shelter.

Pamper your pooch at Patzee’s Pampered Pooches’ Mobile Doggie Spa with prices starting from £10. Do a spot of shopping with some great stalls to browse, including the Barktastic Bakery serving doggie cakes, popcorn and pawsecco and lots of stalls to buy a gift for Fido. There will also be a homeless hounds parade featuring dogs from local rescues.

Visit the pop up photo booth for a snap of yourself and your four-legged friend, provided by Barking Cat Pet Photography. Teas and coffees will also be available for 50p.
