In a fun new fundraising initiative, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is asking pet lovers to ‘Wear Your Whiskers’ tomorrow (Friday 27 October) and help raise money for the thousands of dogs and cats in their care.
You can draw your whiskers on, add a cute nose or a pair of pointy ears – get as creative as you like! All Battersea asks is that you donate £2 to take part (or £1 if at a school) which goes towards providing care for homeless animals.
Jenny Crabtree, Battersea’s Head of Public Fundraising, says, “‘Wear Your Whiskers’ is Battersea’s brand-new fundraising initiative and we want everyone to get involved. Whether you’re in the office, at school or home, it’s super easy to take part and help raise money for the thousands of animals who need Battersea’s help each year.
“Whether you decide to make, draw or buy your whiskers – we want you to wear them with pride and share your support for Battersea on Friday 27 October.”
