Many may be interested in the group judging, but Crufts isn’t just about the best of breed. We’ve been enjoying all the fun shown off in the agility classes and other competitions too.
On Saturday Battersea Dogs and Cats Home will be bringing a group of dogs, which they have rehomed, to show off their doggie agility talent.
Battersea’s Head of Canine Behaviour, Ali Taylor, known to fans of the Home’s ITV series Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs, will be leading the team. They’ll be joined by special guests Jo-Rosie Haffenden and Nando Brown from the popular Channel 4 series Rescue Dog to Superdog between 12pm-1pm on Saturday at stand 26 in Hall 3, where they’ll be providing training advice, practical demonstrations and answering questions on behaviour.
Ali, who has attended Crufts for over twenty years, said, “Crufts provides Battersea with the perfect opportunity to showcase the intelligence of rescue dogs, who are not only smart, but provide years of unconditional love. We want to show the hundreds of reasons why people should consider a rescue dog when searching for a new companion.”
Battersea’s dogs, supported by LV=, are appearing with the East Anglian Staffordshire Bull Terrier Display Team, as well as in a fun agility event know as Temptation Alley, and Rescue Dog Agility events at Crufts.
