Main photo: Kennels on display at St. Pancras. Blue Cross

The BowWow Haus London exhibition of designer dog homes is in full swing and bidding has opened to give everyone the chance to own one of these jaw-dropping kennels.

After over a year in development, the project featuring 65 bespoke dog kennels designed and built by architects and artists from around the world, kicked off on the Terrace level of St. Pancras International on Monday 19 March by the statue of John Betjamin.

On Friday 23 March, additional kennels were installed on the Concourse Level of Stratford International and others may be moved to individual locations for the duration of the event.

The project is a partnership between national pet charity Blue Cross, the U.S-based Outdoor Arts Foundation and acclaimed British photographer, Drew Gardner.

The kennels will remain on display until April 26th and you can keep track of where they are on the project’s website. Afterwards, they will be auctioned off at a gala event at the Renaissance St. Pancras Hotel, raising money to benefit pets in need.

Jay Goulde, Executive Director of the Outdoor Arts Foundation and founder of BowWow Haus London says, “It’s been 15 years since the first BowWow Haus in America and to have architects and artists from all over the world coming together to exhibit their extraordinary pieces in one of the most vibrant cities for arts and culture in a country that I adore is just simply magical.”

Blue Cross helps thousands of pets, from hamsters up to horses, every year and we are delighted that this exciting project will also help the many pets needing our help.” For more information regarding BowWow Haus London, exhibit venues or the gala auction, please visit www.bowwowhauslondon.com or contact Jay Goulde at jgoulde@tampabay.rr.com
