Owners can relax knowing their pets are being pampered in a new ‘boutique hotel for dogs’ that is set to open in Wilshire this week.
The luxuriously-appointed Bath Country Pets will be opening its doors for customers and pampered pooches to have a sneak preview on Friday, November 16, from 4pm–8pm and again on Saturday, November 17, from 10am to 6pm.
The hotel is an alternative to home-boarding and kennels, featuring under-floor heating and bespoke bedrooms. Dog lovers and local business owners Neil and Emma Edwards created Bath Country Pets to meet even the fussiest guest’s doggie needs, with airy and spacious rooms come complete with soft, naturally hypoallergenic, anti-bacterial sheep’s wool-stuffed beds. This five star accommodation also features four acres of gardens and meadows for the dogs to explore, as well as supervised interaction with other canine guests.
Over the celebratory two launch days, dog owners will have the chance to visit the hotel with its stylish, country-meets-steam-punk interior, under-floor heating and cosy bedrooms. Owners will be treated to a drink’s reception complete with cupcakes and pupcakes, the first 50 visitors will also receive a “doggie bag”, filled with canine treats. There will be plenty of opportunities to spoil your pooch on the day, with marquees filled with stalls from local businesses, featuring a collection of collars and leads.
Emma said, “After a hectic summer of building the hotel, creating our website, running our shop and attending numerous shows, it will be lovely to draw breath and to meet our customers face to face and give them the chance to see first-hand exactly what Bath Country Pets is all about.”
More information about the canine hotel can be found on their website , also featuring a small on-site country store which stocks the best in nutritious food, toys and home comforts for much-loved and pampered pets.
