We’re starting the year with a fabulous competition – with four pairs of Crufts 2023 tickets up for grabs.
Crufts, the world’s greatest celebration of dogs, is returning to the NEC in Birmingham, from 9-12 March – and you can be there, immersed in all things doggie!
Run by the Kennel Club, the four-day event will see over 200 breeds competing for the coveted title of Best in Show, as well as the finale of the Kennel Club Hero Dog Award, which recognises unsung canine heroes, while the search is on once again for the nation’s favourite crossbreed with the Scruffts final.
There will be plenty of displays and competitions to enjoy across the four days, while visitors have the opportunity to also meet hundreds of different breeds in the Discover Dogs area, and browse stalls for doggie delights.
Gundog group: Thursday 9 March
Working and Pastoral groups: Friday 10 March
Terrier and Hound groups: Saturday 11
Utility and Toy groups: Sunday 12 March

The event culminates with the announcement of the public vote for the Kennel Club Hero Dog Award, followed by climax of the show, the exciting Best in Show finale on Sunday evening.
With other firm favourites in the programme including heelwork to music, flyball, Scruffts and a full programme in the obedience ring, there will also be a new feature to the show for 2023: the Kennel Club 150th Anniversary Celebration Stakes. This will be a one-off competition to mark the Kennel Club’s 150th anniversary and will take place on Thursday 9 March and see the Best in Show winners from the All Breed Championship Dog Shows that took place in 2022 invited to take part.
Elsewhere, stands and areas offer an opportunity to learn more about other Kennel Club activities, including work that is done into canine health. Kennel Club Breed Rescue organisations will be showcasing their hard work and successes in rehoming breed rescue dogs on the Kennel Club stand, where visitors can find out about rescue dogs looking for their forever home.
Crufts also offers the ultimate shopping experience with stands selling all sorts of doggie delights, including food, toys and beds, as well as outdoor clothing and other equipment.
